Astrological Prediction - Cricket World Cup 2023

(Note: Please read the comment below to find out the reason why the prediction didn't come true)

“England have won the World Cup, by the barest of margins, by the barest of all margins!” says Ian Smith on air. Why exactly did England win the World Cup? To know more about it, we need to go back into the history and see which captains have won it previously. Hence going back into account, we can predict who could possibly go on to win the 2023 ICC World Cup.

In the recent ‘Barest of margins’ documentary, Ian Smith mentioned that the ball ricocheting off Ben Stokes' bat and travelling to the boundary was purely fate. He further eluded that he is a firm believer in fate.

Although it sounds harsh, the truth of the matter is that the winner of the World Cup is already predestined. Using the cryptic codes of the universe, let’s try to decipher which teams have the highest chances of winning.

Let’s dive deep into some of the World Cup winners in other major sports tournaments and other fields as well to get a clue.

1981 - Magic of Uranus (Nascent exaltation):

1981 was a magical year. Uranus had just entered into nascent exaltation in the zodiac sign Scorpio. This is a rare phenomenon. Some of the greats were born during this period.

MS Dhoni (1981) went on to win the World Cup for India after 28 years in 2011 and many other tournaments.

Gautam Gambhir (1981) won a couple of IPL titles during his tenure as captain of KKR.

Tennis legend Roger Federer (1981) went on to clinch 20 grand slams.

Graeme Smith (1981) has ended up becoming the most successful test captain in the history of test cricket.

Serena Williams (1981) notched up 23 grand slams.

Iker Casillas (1981) won the 2010 FIFA World Cup for Spain.

Michael Clarke (1981) won the 2015 Cricket World Cup, which was held in Australia. This clearly shows it’s not a coincidence.

When we look at the music industry, Beyonce Knowles (1981) ended up becoming one of the world’s greatest pop icons.

1986/87 – Magic of Uranus (Deepest exaltation):

The next magical year is 1986/87. Uranus was in deep exaltation during 1986–1987 in the sign of Scorpio. Eoin Morgan, Aaron Finch, David Warner, Rohit Sharma, Kieron Pollard, Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, Usain Bolt, Ravichandran Ashwin, Lionel Messi, Andy Murray, Hugo Lloris, Lady Gaga, Bruno Rezende and many more were all born in the year 1986/87.

Eoin Morgan (1986) went on to win the ICC's 2019 CWC.

Hugo Lloris (1986), the French captain created history after winning the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

Bruno Rezende (1986) won the volleyball World Cup in 2019 for his nation Brazil.

Laura Langman (1986) won the Netball World Cup for New Zealand in 2019.

Nikhil Kamath (1986) successfully founded a financial services company Zerodha.

Lady Gaga (1986) holds the distinction of generating three consecutive Number One albums on the Billboard Hot 100

Karthiki Gonsalves (1986) recently won the Oscar for her documentary ‘Elephant Whisperers," which is a lifetime achievement award.

The 2022 FIFA World Cup was recently won by Lionel Messi (1987) in Doha.

Thomas Briels (1987) won the men’s hockey World Cup for Belgium in 2018.

Laura Geitz (1987) went on to clinch the Netball World Cup 2015 for Australia.

1990 - Power of Pluto in Scorpio:

Pluto just entered into its own house Scorpio after 250 years in 1990.

Heather Knight was born in 1990 and created history after winning the women’s ICC Cricket World Cup in 2017.

Kane Williamson (1990) won the first World Test Championship in 2021.

Ellyse Perry (1990) has been hailed as the ‘Golden Girl of Australian sports’. She played both football and cricket and ended up becoming a legendary player.

Jos Buttler (1990), who is a dynamic batter, went on to win the ICC T20 World Cup in 2022 as captain.

Karthik Aryan (1990) has become a big superstar with some major hits. He is destined to become a big star in the Bollywood circuit without a doubt.

Magnus Carlsen (1990) has been one of the greatest chess players in the history of the game.

1992-94 – (Deepest exaltation of Neptune)

Neptune was in deep exaltation, and Pluto was in its own house from 1992–94. Hence, greats were born and have already taken centre stage.

Meg Lanning (1992) has won five ICC tournaments as captain. That is an astounding number of titles for the Australian women’s captain. She had the luxury of having the best women’s cricket team ever assembled in the history of world cricket astrologically speaking.

Hardik Pandya, Rovman Powell, and Aston Turner all were born in the same year 1993 and went on to win T20 league titles for their respective franchises in the same year 2022. Travis Head (1993) has also won a BBL title in the past. It was a bit surprising that he wasn’t picked by any IPL team this year.

Famous Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt (1993) has also achieved greatness in her short career.

Marc Márquez (1993) has bagged multiple MotoGP championships, which helped him get his much-deserved legendary status.

Zhu Ting (1994) has won back-to-back volleyball world cups for China.

Indian weightlifter Mirabai Chanu (1994) won the silver medal in the recently concluded Tokyo Olympics.

1997 – (Planet-X in Deep exaltation)

The last quarter of 1997 has produced a lot of sports superstars due to strong Pluto, Mars-Venus conjunction and other strong planetary placements that support sports people. Due to Planet X's rare exaltation in the zodiac sign of Capricorn, these people can achieve extraordinary things at a very young age.

Rishabh Pant (1997) has been one of the most prominent cricketers born in this period. Expect Sarfaraz Khan (1997) and Mehidy Hasan Miraz (1997) from Bangladesh to follow in the same footsteps and become greats in world cricket.

Naomi Osaka (1997) has won 4 major tennis grand slams at a young age.

Neeraj Chopra (1997) won a gold medal in the recently concluded Olympics. Lovlina Borgohain (1997) and Ravi Kumar Dahiya (1997) also won bronze and silver medals in the 2021 Tokyo Olympics.

Max Verstappen (1997) has already won two F1 championships.

2003 – (Multiple exaltations of planets):

Carlos Alcaraz, Dewald Brevis, and Dunith Wellalage have the potential to become the greatest players of all time. There will be many more coming into the horizon soon. People born in 2003 will easily surpass all the great years mentioned above.

The above table provides some interesting insights,

1986/87 - Rohit Sharma (1987) hasn’t got a chance to win the ODI cricket world cup as a player or as a captain yet.

1990 - Temba Bavuma (1990) is yet to win a major ICC tournament for proteas.

Both these captains have lost their recent ICC tournaments as well.

Let’s now look at the teams who would go on to win the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 astrologically speaking.

1. India (Rohit Sharma, 1987)

Rohit Sharma hasn’t fulfilled the potential of his horoscope just yet. He would have been the most successful captain for India had he been chosen a bit earlier. He has managed to win 5 IPL titles which is incredible, to say the least. He has an incredible horoscope to win an ICC tournament for India. Along with Rohit, all the other members of the team look excellent astrologically. Rahul Dravid (1973) as coach also increases India’s chances of winning the title. The return of the injured trio KL Rahul, Jasprit Bumrah and Shreyas Iyer will provide fantastic astrological balance to the team. So far, Rohit Sharma winning the Asia Cup is a similar story just like Lionel Messi winning the Copa America 2022 just before the FIFA World Cup.

2. South Africa (Temba Bavuma, 1990)

South Africa and ICC tournaments as a couple have been a misery over the years. SA team always had the wrong captains leading the side barring Graeme Smith (1981). But let’s make it clear, this South African team has an excellent chance of winning their inaugural ICC Cricket World Cup in 2023. What fascinates me is the players they have at their disposal. Tabraiz Shamsi (1990), Keshav Maharaj (1990), Quinton De Kock (1992), Aiden Markram (1994), Kagiso Rabada (1995). They will have competition from a few teams as well, but I just wouldn’t be surprised if they notch up their maiden ICC CWC title in India, where most of them come and play IPL regularly. Proteas would be led beautifully by their skipper Temba Bavuma as well. He will always be in the reckoning when he leads SA in future ICC tournaments as well.

Let’s now discuss the major teams which don’t have a chance to win and the reasons behind it.

1. New Zealand (Kane Williamson, 1990)

New Zealand suffered from a big heartbreak when they lost against England in the 2019 World Cup due to the flawed rules of cricket. After 2 years, Kane Williamson went on to win the inaugural ICC test championship. Gary Stead (1972) is still the coach after the WTC 21 win, which is impacting their chances.

2. England (Jos Buttler, 1990)

Jos Buttler recently won the T20 World Cup in Australia. Besides that, Ben Stokes, Joe Root, Moeen Ali, Chris Woakes, and Mark Wood were part of the 2019 World Cup winning team earlier.

3. Australia (Pat Cummins, 1993)

Pat Cummins has already won the WTC 23. Hence, he cannot win the world cup. The team consists of multiple players who have already won ICC tournaments in the past.

4. Pakistan (Babar Azam, 1994)

Babar Azam is young currently. Please note that age fudging is common in Pakistan. Hence it’s difficult to predict. (Take this prediction with a pinch of salt)

5. Bangladesh (Shakib-Al-Hassan, 1987)

Shakib has got a fabulous chart. The team combination is taking a hit astrologically.

6. Sri Lanka (Dashun Shanaka, 1991):

Shanaka doesn’t have the horoscope to win major tournaments like ICC tournaments.

Conclusion:

Captains born in 1987 and 1990 will have the highest chances to win CWC 23. This indicates that Rohit Sharma or Temba Bavuma will go on to win the CWC 23.

Football and cricket world cups always travel together parallelly in an astrological sense. People born in strong strategic years like 1981, 1983, 1986, 1987, 1990, 1993, 1994, and 1997 can go on to win major tournaments like the world cups.

I wish the best of luck to all the teams who are fighting it out to be crowned as world champions.

Message to the readers:

After reading this article, I’m pretty sure people are not happy with sports events being predestined. But my job is to tell the truth. Just like sports events, our life events are predestined as well. Every human being on this planet is chained to their own past karmas. Hence the captain who was destined to win has taken birth in this lifetime with more positive karmas than the other captains who couldn’t win. Hence winning a World Cup wasn’t based on luck, it was purely destiny. But that doesn’t mean people should stop working hard. People should continue doing it. The reward would be obtained at a later stage of this life or in future lives.

  1. Hello All,

The prediction hasn't manifested. Apologies if this prediction hurt people who read it.
The year of logical progression for world cup winning captains has always been
    1981, 1983, 1986, 1987, 1990, 1993, 1994, 1997, 2003 etc.
This held true even for this CWC'23.
Then the question arises why did the 1987, 1990 years were skipped?
Actually it wasn't skipped. The logic needs to be evolve with time.
T20 world cup and ODI world cup needs to be merged as one entity while analyzing astrologically.
Simply because T20 cricket right now is on the rise. It is branded as world cup as well in the last few years. This wasn't true many years back when analyzing astrologically.
The last T20 world cup was won by 1990 born captain, Jos Buttler. The next best year as per the above article is 1993.
Hardik Pandya, Travis Head, Pat Cummins, Rovman Powell, Jasprit Bumrah, Harry Kane are possible world cup winning captains in future.
I had bookmarked 1993 born Pat Cummins as one of the strong contenders to win CWC 27. But he has won it in 2023.
Pat Cummins winning both WTC 23 and CWC 23 indicate WTC is not a major ICC event. He is the first captain to win 2 ICC tournaments in the same year which is
    commendable to say the least.
Rohit Sharma (1987) has won many IPL titles before. This played a strong role in him not winning the world cup. Sadly, he might win one more IPL and go past MS Dhoni to compensate for not winning the CWC23. He is clearly destined to become a legendary captain in league cricket.
Temba Bavuma (1990) didn't win maybe because he doesn't have a birth chart strong enough to win the world cup. We don't have birth timings of foreign captains. Hence we need to go ahead with limited data before going ahead with the prediction. Temba might still win champions trophy or WTC in the future.

Lessons learnt after this world cup:
    1. Logical progression needs to be analyzed by merging T20 world cup and ODI world cup going forward.
    2. WTC is a minor ICC tournament.

Hearty congratulations to Pat Cummins and Australia for winning this world cup. I'm so happy that 1993 born captains have arrived and already began creating huge impacts in world cricket.

I thank everyone for your support throughout this tournament.
This failed prediction will help me improve the accuracy of predicting mundane events like these.
Please note that just like how medical science evolves after every new findings, science of astrology is also in the same boat.
The right birth year of world cup winning captains couldn't be found accurately if there was no astrology. Selecting the right birth year for every world cup can be challenging with limited birth details of foreign captains. But with extensive research, this could be solved as well.

    Thanks,
    Stalin
