One of the pre tournament favourites along with being in the top half of the points table(India) take on the bottom placed Afghanistan. The Indians are on a roll and have kept their winning streak intact by steam rolling Pakistan  in Manchester. The Afghans on the other hand received a beating at the hands of the England, with their bowlers bearing the brunt of the attack from the English batsmen. They have also lost every match in this tournament  and are on the verge of being the first team to be knocked out. The Indians are cementing their place in the top four and are slowly creeping into the semis. India on the other hand are coming off a huge victory over Pakistan which is their second in less than a week.
